The Southwest BID is hosting a Spook-tacular Halloween from 4:30 - 6:30 pm today at Lansburgh Park. Come see us there! We'll have a game and goodies for the kids, and of course Titanic-themed costumes.
This is a rain or shine event, so don't let a few raindrops scare you away!
It is Week 3 of our FriendsGiving: Give Today for Tomorrow donation drive. We've raised $3,000 toward our $7,500 donation goal so far! Titanic Memorial Park is a great asset for the Southwest Community, and we love meeting friends and neighbors in the park.
In addition to protecting and preserving Titanic Memorial Park as the wonderful community space that it is, we engage in the broader Southwest community, supporting other organizations and events in Southwest. You'll see us at events hosted by the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly and the Southwest BID, leading nature discovery walks during the City Nature Challenge, and promoting volunteer support for the Anacostia and Potomac Riverkeepers, Anacostia Watershed Society, and other National Parks.
