SWNA Picnic in the Park
Our friends at SWNA are sponsoring a Picnic in Titanic Memorial Park on:

5:00pm - 7:00pm
Bring your blankets, chairs, snacks, and drinks to enjoy one of our community's most cherished places with your SW neighbors!
Light refreshments will be provided.
Work Party, October 19, 2019

9:00 - Noon
Meet at the Titanic Memorial

Hails and Farewells
We welcome John Kircher and Kramer Phalen to the Friends Board of Directors! Both John and Kramer have supported the Friends in the past, and we are happy to have them both on the Board. Our full Board, and list of Officers, is:

We offer a fond farewell to Donna Hanousek, one of our founders and past Chair of the Friends Board. Donna has resigned from her active board position but will continue to keep connected with the organization through an Ex Officio capacity. She said the organization is now up and running, and she is ready to move on to other work. She has asked us to relay her appreciation to the many volunteers she has had the pleasure to work with and hopes to see them in the future.
We also said farewell to Rae Emerson, our National Park Service liaison, who retired at the end of July. Rae was a great supporter of the Park and the Friends, and she will be missed. We have a temporary liaison appointed to help us keep things running smoothly until a permanent liaison is named.
